I learn that I should focus on vocabulary, grammar and functions when teaching a new language. They are many ways to use when it comes to learning new vocabularies when we teach grammar. There are different stages of methods we could use. Teaching new language needs appropriacy of the language in term of the kind of language they use.This lesson was useful in conceptualizing how to build a lesson for a class. I believe I would need more guidance on what to begin teaching my students, but this unit helped me understand how I can teach vocab and grammar. I particularly like the idea of using the boomerang ESA structure and think I will incorporate that into my lessons.
