In this unit I saw the ESA as the best way as some of the other methods I have never heard of and seam to have many drawbacks for both the teacher and the learner. The most important part I got of this was when to correct a student. And this will help me with the classes I have now .This lesson showed important ways to teach phonetics to students. I learnt to use the phonetic alphabet, now I believe I am able to properly teach this subject. The unit also covered the use of stress and the use of intonation, which are all important things to teach all my students.During this unit I have been exposed to different approaches on teaching EAL. I clearly understand that to succeed in this objectiversion, the teacher must select the best strategy that take into account the objective of the class, the level of English and the needs of the students.
