I found this unit is specific on receptive skills of reading and listening which helped me not to mix it with other skills such as speaking and writing. I liked the length of the unit contents which is not too long nor short and it came with a task reading and exercises to practice on.This unit uses video examples to illustrate the difference between a good and or a bad lesson. As a teacher, we have to be extremely careful as to how we carry ourselves from our attitude to our use of english language to ensure our students are interested and engage in the classroom.Having read this unit I found myself wondering if I have a particular purpose for conducting tests in my classes or I just do it because it seems to be right. I guess after this unit I will be more aware of why I need the tests and what kinds of tests are suitable for different stages.
