I always thought having my own lesson planning was easier but from this unit, itb tought me that too much planning can make lessons rather not flexible and stop being capable to the needs of the students. I have caught myself making notes and incredibly lost myself but build in flexibilityThis unit is focused on classroom management. It explains how the teachers role depends on type of activity and various situations. I have learnt when and how to use eye contact, gesture and voice. Also, I have learned a proper way to group students and how to organize classroom furniture.I didn't realise how many teaching techniques there were. This was an eye opener and I really struggled with this module. I believe I have learned a lot about how people learn and the best approach that can be taken. Obviously you need to choose the best approach depending on the students.
