this unit describes the different tests that can be taken to measure the english skills of a non english student. some of these tests are used to get a job, enter a school and possibly enter a country. hopefully anyone that looks to learn english will lok upon these tests as a means to an end.This unit is an excellent overview of the different parts of speech in the English language. It is important for any English teacher to know the proper placement and usage of these parts of speech, even if teaching them isn't part of the class curriculum as is often the case in ESL classrooms.I have never heard about relative clauses and phrasal verbs before. I have to admit that this Unit is quite difficult. This Unit helps me to realize what are clauses and phrasal verbs and how should I use them. I have never been good in passive voice but grid on page 5 gives clear explanation.
