The two sample videos really show a big difference and the attitude of the teacher really matters in achieving a succesful class. The first video, the teacher just directly ask a question of a modal auxialliary verb. He neve even give a smile, which makes the students intimidated. ANd the worst part he even doesnt know the names of the students, he just directly go staright to the lesson. Grammar point is a very confusing and a boring topic in the English language so teachers should know how to make it interesting for the students to learn. The first video over all shows a very boring and not effective class. It didn't motivate the students to participate. While the second video shows even from the start a nice smile from the teacher. Asked the names of each students which gave a good rapport and jokes with them. He also started with simple words, asking different animals that each students know.This gave the interest from the students to participate, and he asked everyone to participate. The second video has also more participation , actions which gave more students understanding. For me the second video was very effective, fun and interesting and made the students to participate more.
