Unit 19 mentions that teaching kids is considered to be the most rewarding teaching experience by many teachers, I have an opposite opinion on that matter, but mostly when it comes to teaching kindergärtners. There you don't only provide your service as a teacher to kids themselves but you are supposed to meet their parents' expectations. Im able to judge about teaching 3-5 years old kids back to Russia and in China. Kids are always kids, to my mind. But for example Chinese parents' demands are very high, they expect their kids to be able to speak good English after one year of studying it (in instance they start at 3 and by 4 years old they expect their kid be able to speak English). without practicing at home, without parents being able to speak it themselves. So I don't really find it rewarding, because the teacher needs to 'negotiate' both with kids and their parents. Maybe, I find it hard because I'm lacking a teaching experience. This was about one point of the Unit I find hard to agree with. The rest - the information is useful, as usual.
