UNIT 20: This unit examines some common problems situations that are faced by teachers in a classroom and also look into ways to remedy this situation. The first problem that a teacher is faced with is meeting a number of new classes for the first time being able in establishing a good rapport with students, such classes fall into two categories namely new groups and Existing group. In order to remedy this problem, an experienced teacher will bring up activities to motivate learners, look into the need of the class and also would not neglect games. Other problems that teachers face occurs in different levels such as large classes, use of native language, Reluctant students and difficulties with listening text. All this problems have their different attempted solutions which have greatly help the teachers to be able to handle their various problems. From this unit, I have learn how to identify some problems that I may encounter as a teacher and equally enlighten me on how to solve these problems. I must confess it has been a wonderful training to me.
