This lesson was a little challenging towards the end. I enjoyed it because it encouraged me to think a little more than usual. This lesson was about pronunciation and phonology. I did not know what phonology was until I tread this lesson. It was interesting and provided a great learning experience.This unit has taught me the need to conduct diagnostic test at the start of a periodic course to assess the language levels of my students, continual progress test to ascertain the language they have retained and practice tests to prepare them for external examinations such as CET 4, SAT and CET 6.More explanation on the phonetic script is needed. It is the hardest part of the unit by far. I will recommend using videos for this unit. I believe using videos will give a better understanding for this particular section of the unit. The other areas were satisfactorily understood by all accounts.
