This was so far the most difficult unit for me to learn. It?s the most useful unit too, but I have to go through it again and again. So far from this unit, I liked to learn about the Intonation, Stress, Sound Joining, and the Phonetic Alphabets. My most favorite part was learning about the Stress.This unit has been valuable for reviewing unit seven's content based on the differences in activities used for each phase of the lesson based on the target objective being vocabulary or grammar. It has given futher understanding to the concept of a lesson plan and the reasons behind it's importance.This unit was about teaching the use of phonemes and how best to teach them. As a native English speaker, I found the text a bit overwhelming as I had no idea what really goes on during speech. I feel confident that I am more equipped to help EFL students because of the content outlined in the unit.
