This Unit taught me not just the differences in the teaching approaches towards writing and speaking but a lot of games and activities to motivate the class to step out of their comfort zone. I think it is very interesting how one can separate accuracy and fluency into the different teaching stages.I found this unit very difficult to assimilate. Although all of the information was relevant and well presented there was a lot to take in at once. I learned about quite a few teaching methods I previously had not. It took many boomerang style sessions. Finally I felt I was prepared to move forward.This unit was full of information on modals, phrasal verbs and passive voice. All of these are very important and I feel each should have its own unit. It was quite a lot of information to learn and be tested on. I do understand the these topics but will need more practice if I teach these in class.
