In unit 15 we covered evaluation and testing for ESL students. This unit focused on how an instructor could use different exams at different stages to assess where the students are and what information had been retained. It also talked about exams that could be taken to prepare them for external exams.In this chapter we learn that there is four basic skills in any language that we can divide into receptive and productive. This chapter was mainly focused on receptive skills which are reading and listening. We have learned of different skills as well as problems when it comes to reading and listening.
