Unit 2 was a fairly detailed summary of the functions of parts of speech/grammar. These concepts are important, because in all language, there is some type of pattern that allows for people to communicate with. In teaching, this can allow for an easier transition for students to focus on these patterns and relate what's similar between their native tongue and secondary language. However, I do believe this should be a supplementary resource, only after creating many phrases themselves individually through trial and error; I think this is one of best ways to gain understanding in communicating in another language, because it teaches the \"rhythm\" or \"flow\" of the intended language.
