This was extremely confusing, I did not like the chart with the phonetic script. I am yet to see how this would be helpful in the delivery of pronunciation as the students would get very confused when it comes to the actual written tasks. How will they be able to differentiate between the phonetic script and the actual english alphabet. I have used other methods of teaching blends and phonemes such as Ruth Miskins RWI program to children with EAL with great success. I do not feel confident enough with just looking at this unit to then go ahead nd deliver this as part of a program. I would need further tuition as I do not feel it was made clear in this unit or in accompanying videos.
