For the most part this unit was good. Grammar and vocabulary were as straight forward as they come and the tidbits of information seemed like common sense to me.The one area that was more difficult to decipher was in functions. Sure, there was a list talking about the function of 'agreeing/disagreeing', 'invitation' and so on. Added the kind of language used such as formal and informal language. The issue me stems from the lack of visible examples to illustrate the exact nature of the functions mentioned. It certainly made question 7 on the task sheet more difficult. If you can't picture in your head how you would explain the topic you won't be able to explain it to anyone else.
