The most important aspect of this unit to me was understanding how to balance being creative with having a course book. It is clear that having a course book is a vital part of language learning as it allows for a physical example and can be used by students when they need help with something outside of class. A teacher's creativity is important as well, because it ensures that the topics discussed are relevant and can prevent class time from becoming dull or redundant. Another good thing, is that there is an abundance of materials online for English language teachers who are not so creative. This way they can be helped by their fellow teachers to create effective and useful lessons.
