I have learned in Unit III that there are various methods and approaches in teaching learners how to learn English. I am particular about Grammar Traslation, ALM, PPP, Task-based Language Teaching, CLT, CLL, Silent Way, Suggestopedia among others but this is my first time to encounter ESA or Engage, Study and Activate. I enjoyed reading and learning about the different ways to present ESA like the Straight Arrow, the Boomerang lesson, and the Patchwork lesson. I can't wait to apply this to my students. I also learned about the many techniques I can use to go along with the ESA method. They sound interesting and it looks like the students will have fun in learning inside the classroom.
