The information provided in this unit is completely new to me. In fact, it is very technical, especially the articulation part. Although I do not think that using the terminology is useful for teaching the pronunciation, the articulation part is really interesting for me. Additionally, knowing about intonation and stress is beneficial for the students. Actually, by studying this unit, I learnt many useful things about intonation, stress, phonemic alphabets and symbols, linked speech, sound joining and pronunciation, and now I feel more confident about teaching these subjects in the class. Also, the provided guidelines for teaching stress, intonation and pronunciation are quite useful.
