In an analog way as unit 11, this unit reflects about the productive skills of language which are speaking and writing. It reminds us that writing is equally important as speaking but is a skill that is unfortunately neglected as it is often left to homework and not properly done. We get an explanation between accuracy (often taught in study phase) and fluency (more present in activate phase). We get a detailed map of examples of speaking activities (whether being controlled, guided or creative; the first one being an accuracy based activity whereas the last one is more fluency base. The guided one is a mix of both) and writing activities and for each skill a detailed lesson is given.
