Unit 18 dives into grammar concepts. It starts off with a list of modal auxiliary verbs, their basic rules and what is their main and secondary usages. The video lesson also shows how to teach them. Some of their usages often overlap so their use is not exclusive or written in stone. The material then moves on to the passive voice, what is it and what is it used for. Most importantly, it is shown how to convert the various tenses when switching between active and passive forms. Relative clauses are also defined, along with their three main subtypes : independent, dependent and relative. After that, there's a chapter on phrasal verbs, which are verbs with one or two particles attached.
