While some of this unit includes content that I already use (praise and give positive feedback whenever possible), much of it is new (Methodologies). It also contains many important aspects of an english class that I am seeing right now and experience everyday. In my program, we were introduced to the \"PPP\" approach and used that as the main framework. It was nice to see other approaches and their strengths/weaknesses. I like the ESA framework because it is something I have already used (especially the engage aspect), so I feel much more comfortable now using new skills like the boomerang and patchwork sequence. I also liked the examples of activities for all stages of ESA approach.
