This unit discusses the complexity of grammar and its usage. It gives a comprehensive coverage of the different types of speech required to form grammatically correct and proper sentence structure. While forming sentences came naturally for me, it did not occur to me that there are ways and technicalities involved in constructing a sentence. This can possibly be because I have gotten so used to the language that it is etched in my mind. Regardless, this is a good exercise to revise and test my understanding of the different parts of speech involved. Gerund was a new thing I learnt today. It is the first time I came across this word and now I know that it is used the same way as a noun.
