This lesson was about conditionals and reported speech. I felt that this lesson was very helpful. I got some insight about activities I could do with my students. When teaching the conditional tense I could do split sentences, complete the conditional, chain conditionals, and other activities. I think these activities would be a great way of teaching younger students. The reason why I feel this way you could turn some of these activities into games. Younger kids love playing games in English class. I felt reported speech section of the lesson was extremely helpful. Many of my students struggle with this during conversations. It was great seeing the chart of the different tenses and how they change. For instance will changes to would direct speech to reported speech. I will print this chart off for my adult students in the future. Another thing that was helpful from the section were time expressions, and the different expressions you can use. For instance instead of saying tomorrow you can say the next day, the day after. I will work on this kind of language with my students more. I feel this could boost their vocabulary even more, and it could add more creativity when they are telling stories to the class.
