For Unit 6, we learned about the different forms and usages of past tense such as past simple, past continuous, past perfect and past perfect continuous. We learned already from the previous unit about how the continuous form is formed by adding the verb ?to be? plus ?ing? to the verb, present perfect is formed of the verb ? to have? and the past participle of the verb and perfect continuous is formed of the verb ? to have?, plus ?been?, plus the ?ing? of the verb. I have learned how to identity common mistakes made by students and some great ways to teach each form of the past tense.
