I found this unit to be a great introduction on Pronunciation and Phonology. I think it is important to have a better understanding of them in order to help teaching students the English language properly. I think students learning English have trouble with pronunciation because the sounds are different from those in their native language. This unit breaks down the sounds and pronunciation needed for the English language. Things like how to position your mouth and what syllable to stress were good to review. I also liked the teaching techniques to better handle pronunciation. Visuals, phonemes, peer dictation, and my favorite, tongue twisters!
