When given the same exact classroom environment, there are many things that a teacher can do to determine whether the lesson will be effective or not. The most important initial factor is to come in with a welcoming attitude; smiling, learning names, etc. These factors allow a teacher to create a rapport with the students. Beyond effectively utilizing forms of the ESA lesson plan, the teacher should also focus on such factors as the speed of speech, body language, and inclusion. The combination of an effective lesson plan with the proper utilization of these factors will lead to a great lesson/classroom environment for which students can learn.
