In unit 14 I learned about the different types of material teachers could use in the classroom. I liked reading this unit because it showed the reader there are other materials to use besides the coursebook. The coursebook has great information but I do not want to depend on it as a new teacher. I want to utilize other learning material into my classroom to help my students be more engaged and motivated. I liked the examples used in the unit such as the word search and the flashcards. Even though I do not want to depend on the course, I would still like to use it as a resource since it can help guide me on the material that needs to be covered.
