The study part of the lesson should include a kind of drilling activity and focus on accuracy. During this part, the most corrections can be made for mistakes and errors, but corrections can come from the teacher or students. In an activating stage, the students can put to use what was learned in the earlier stages as well as practicing what they know. A lesson can include the three parts in different orders, but should start with an engage part and end with an activating part.
