This unit focuses on what will be covered in the course, and gives a brief overview of teaching business English. It is noted that one may not necessarily need experience in an specific industry when teaching English for specific purposes as long as the teacher can create and utilize appropriate resources.In this unit, we covered to topic of teaching pronunciation and phonology. We learnt about stress, articulation, intonation and rhythm. These things are very important in pronunciation of something correctly and properly. Phonemes were also very interesting. I can finally read phonetic scripts very easily.
