In class, students often have little time in writing because it will waste a lot of time, but it can not be omitted that writing is a very important productive skill in language. From this unit, I have learned several skills of both pratice writing and speaking ,which will help a lot in my future teaching.Some parts of this unit were a bit hard for me to follow. I think I will have to go through several times to be able to explain the difference between plosives, fricatives, affricates etc. However, I realized how important it is to include phonetics in teaching a language, especially intonation and stress.
