This unit felt like a review of the past units, it was good to revise it and refresh my memory. Some of the mentioned equipment and teaching aids were not mentioned earlier in the units and that was interesting to know. I especially appreciated the links which were named, next to the internet related aids.Without doubt Phonetics is challenging. I would have to agree that teaching this is by far easier in practice than reading about it. Students would definately benefit doing games like tongue twisters and voice games than talking about phonetics. Personally I feel the theory of it does not benefit students.
