Unit 3 deals with the methodologies in teaching english. Some of the methodologies are grammar-translation, the silent way, community language learning, audio-lingualism, etc. These methodologies help me understand that it is important to know first the level of the learners and their interest so that I could apply the best possible approach. This unit also helps me with a lot of ideas in engaging my students in the lesson. As a teacher, I should have a lot of different approaches so that the students won't be bored in my class. Also, in correcting my students, I should give them the opportunity to correct their mistakes or their classmates.
