Similar to the present tense unit, this unit was a great refresher course. For some reason, I found it more difficult than the present tense; it seems to be a bit more complicated, and I expect students to have a harder time learning it than the present tense. This unit broke the present tense down into the past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and the past perfect continuous. For each section, helpful usages and examples were given to create a deeper understanding of each. I found the common mistakes that students make section to be very helpful, as it will be useful to know some of these mistakes while teaching, and how to handle them
