This unit consisted of information about using different sources of teaching material. These materials are either authentic materials or created materials. Magazines, newspapers, poems, songs etc are all authentic materials. These materials are interesting and can be geared towards a specific group of students. teachers can also use their creativity to make their own materials such as crosswords, flashcards, picture stories, role-play cards etc. course books can also be used but it should not be the only material used by the teacher. Instead, certain lessons can be replaced, omitted, supplemented and adapted towards the needs of the students.
