Unit twelve covers the productive skills which are defined as writing and speaking skills. Most of the document is devoted to speaking activities and some of the different aims and problems of activities. For instance, a difference between accuracy and fluency of a language is established. Accuracy is more controlled and suited for the study phase. On the other hand, fluency is good for active phase games and dialog scenarios where student can practice speaking without overly concerned about correct usage. Writing skills are touched upon particularly some of the difficulties to be expected from students with alphabets of different characters.
