This unit covered more of the English grammar. It began by introducing modal auxiliary verbs, when they are used, and the different structures used for past and present tense. It then went on to cover the difference between passive and active voices, reasons for why one may be used over another, and teaching ideas that can help students to practice. Next, it went to cover relative clauses: independent, dependent, and relative clauses. Furthermore, it went to categorize them even further into defining relative clauses and non-defining ones. Finally, the unit covered phrasal verbs: intransitive, transitive separable, and transitive inseparable.
