In unit 8 I've read about two productive skills - speaking and writing. There are two kinds of activities we can use when teaching speaking skills : Accuracy activities (usually part of the study phase) that focus on producing correct language and Fluency activities (usually part of the activate phase) that allow the students to be creative with the language. When teaching writing skills we need to focus on correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, vocabulary usage, layout and style of writing. The teacher also needs to keep in mind that the rules of the student's first language can be significantly different from the rules of English language
