Teach English in Jiamusi Shi

Prior to completing this unit I understood that there were different tenses used for the past, the present and the future but I have now learnt that each tense has four aspects

In this unit, I learnt about teaching special group which are categorized as follow: Beginners, Individuals, Young Learners, Business English and Monolingual/ Multilingual

This unit is important because it deals with the conditional and reported speech/direct speech

This unit gives detail of information about teaching equipment available for reinforcing teaching and learning process

So often we think of teachers as people who stand up in front of a whiteboard and create a lecture on a certain topic

In this unit, I learned that converting direct speech to reported speech can be very confusing, and it is very easy to make a mistake due to the number of changes that are made with verb tenses, patterns, pronouns, questions, and time expressions

I have learned about Evaluating students and the Kinds of tests in English

This unit was difficult

This lesson forms an overall structure for lesson planning

This unit discusses the materials a TESL teacher will typically require for his/her classroom in order to teach

This unit reminded me of just how complicated English parts of speech can be to a new learner of the language

Similar to the present tense unit, this unit was a great refresher course

This unit has outlined the different parts of the English phoneneme and its focus is on teaching proper pronunciation of English words

This unit explains how to form each of the 4 present tenses of the English language, and explains when each of these tenses is used

Unit 18 was titled Modals, Phrasal Verbs, and Passive Voice

This unit covers basic principles of teaching and learning, including a brief introduction to the three primary groups of learning and developmental theory: maturation, environmental and constructivism

This unit covers the common future tenses: future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous, be going, present simple and present continuous

My reflection of this unit is , it shows us hoe we research , look for , and apply for a job almost anywhere in this world , it also taught me what importance it have to research and to adopt every country's culture where we want to teach

Because they are not designed for the EFL students, they are not graded for level ? Why use? o They are real- more interesting and motivating o Students gain confidence when they understand them o They can be geared to the interests of a particular group of students Created materials ? Designed to replace or complement workbooks ? Crosswords ? Word search puzzles ? Role-play cards ? Flashcards ? Gap fill activities ? Picture stories

Unit fourteen of this course is a discussion on course books and lesson materials

There are three different time tense, with present tense being broken into four different parts: present simple, present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous

This unit is about the different ways of evaluating students' level and progress, as well as some of the common external exams

Unit 3 introduces different teaching methodologies and why ESA method is the most effective among all

This unit has outlined the various types of teaching equipment and has described each of them giving advantages and disadvantages

What has been covered during this course gave me a good overview on some of the most difficult grammatical issues that I may face as an English teacher

There are several ways to evaluate a students language level

This lesson showed two different approaches to the same lesson using both the same teacher and the same set of students

The video in this unit is very simple yet very clear, it enhanced my learning
