As with the previous tenses this unit taught me the four types of ways in which the future tense can be used, in addition there are also 3 more ways to talk about the future in the forms of the going to future, present simple and present continuous tenses. Activities that demonstrate methods to talk about the future include horisopes and fortune telling.Authentic materials and created materials are both necessary to ensure a targeted yet balanced learning experience for our students. Many created materials were originally part of authentic materials which have been toned down or adjusted to the target student level. Therefore retaining much of the former content and conveying it in a comprehensible way.
