There are verbs that are used for reported speech such as said, asked, advised, told, suggested, warned, ordered, proclaimed, and explained.This unit provided some good ideas for using course books in a positive way. The challenge of balancing created materials and following a course book will depend on the make-up of your student group. I especially find the ways to evaluate a course book helpful. It will be something I can refer to whenever choosing a course book for a particular class.
