I have learned how to approach the present tenses as a subject, and some of the difficulties students can have with the present tenses and each of its forms. I've also learned how to easily identify mistakes and how best to approach them. The lecture also highlighted the need to drill how we contract sentences, and to learn the different irregular verbs.This lesson delved into the four types of past tenses; past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous. Types of common student errors were provided that combined with my own understanding of errors native speakers make I now have a grasp on the basics. However, the definitions for each of the four types are a bit confusing/vague.
