Unit 6 was about past tenses. I learned that there are 4 different forms for the past tense. I think that it will be difficult to teach the irregular verbs, but this unit gave some helpful teaching tips. I have learned the usages for past tense, which I think may also be difficult to teach if I cannot explain it to the students in their native language.Students' knowledge of vocabulary can depend on their similarity to students' own language and other factors. There are many ways to teach vocabulary by using the engage (using pictures and contrast), study (gap-fillers and crosswords) and activate (role-play and story building) model. This model is also applied for practicing grammatical structures too.
