This unit was quite informative. It was valuable in looking at the importance of assessment and evaluation , and also the types of assessment. It highlights the importance of using a variety of methods. This is how an efficient teacher makes appropriate and accurate adjustments to methodology and planning. This helps to create a more responsive educator.This unit discusses the different tests used to assess students who have come to learn English. It also explains about the use of tests the progress of the students during the course to see what knowledge they have retained. I was unaware of the many different types of external examinations the students can take and the reasons for the different exams.
