This unit is about relationship between teacher and students. There is so much to factor when teaching a classroom full a students to maximize the learning of the students. Some things to consider is the seat arrangement, group activities, TTT versus STT, rapport with students and disciplinary actions. This will be a unit I will go back to and reference.This lesson was really important and relevant. Being bi lingual, I understand firsthand the challenges in listening versus reading and think this lesson does a good job of emphasizing the importance of teaching important vocabulary and choosing topics that are of interest to the students so that they can build confidence and start at a comfortable place.
