This unit provided some suggestions on common problems in the classroom. It was a good overview of the different types of problems and how to deal with them. As I teach in Mongolia, the common problems in the classroom are reluctant students and use of their own native language in the classroom. I will apply some of these tips to my lessons in the future.Unit 19 discusses teaching different groups of students and the different tools required for teaching them. The lesson talks about teaching absolute beginners (students who have no English experience at all) and false beginners (students who may have previous experience). The section also talks about teaching business English and other groups of students.
