This lesson was a good review of the various forms of the past tense. It helped me understand how to explain the differences between the forms clearly to the students. I also like the activity suggestions at the end of each form description, and I'll be using some of these ideas to encourage students to talk about the recent Mongolian New Year celebrationsIn Unit 16 i learned about the conditionals and reported speech and the importance of both of them. ESL students often struggle with differentiating the second and third conditionals because they look the same. Direct speech is a conversation being spoken directly from the source and reported speech is a repeating of a speech or conversation that happened.
