This unit is about teaching pronunciation & phonology. The materials touched the areas of Stress, Rhythm, and Intonation, as well as concentrating on the International Phonetic Alphabet and its use in helping students to come to an understanding of the pronunciation of English. I am not a native English speaker and I found this unis is very helpful for me.Having a good rapport with students is important to have successful lessons. The students must respect the teacher and there are several ways a teachers should act in order to gain their respect. This is important as it will help students behave better in class and gives the teacher freedom to do various activities to keep lessons interesting for students.
