It discusses how important it is to keep Teacher Talk Time at a miminal in order to encourage Student Talk Time.There are vocabulary, grammar, and language function as distinct areas of teaching and learning. There are various methods and approaches to learning these things, and this chapter gives some general patterns and ideas, but I found it a little wanting in detail. The example of the formal/written and spoken form of \"going to\" and \"gonna\" was really good.
