In this last chapter on grammar, we see modals, phrasal verbs and passive voice. The first part teaches Modal Auxiliary verbs, their basic rules and teaching ideas. After that we learn the passive voice (form, use, common mistakes and teaching ideas), relative clauses and finally phrasal verbs (Intransitive, transitive separable and transitive inseparable).This unit covers the use of the four past tense's. They are the same the present tense only based in the past, Therefore time is relavent. The past tense is a grammatical tense whose principal function is to place an action or situation in past time. It thus provides a grammatical means of indicating that the event being referred to took place in the past.
