Future can be expressed with: 1) Future Simple: will/shall + infinitive (I will finish this course next week.) Question form - inversion (Will I finish this course next week?) and negative form with NOT between the auxiliary and the main verb (I will not/won't finish this course next week.) The usages: future certain actions, predictions, promises, spontaneous decisions, threats. Future Continuous: Will be +gerund (I will be waiting for you.), questions (Will I be waiting for you?) and negative form with NOT (I will not/won't be waiting for you.). Future Continuous is used to express actions in the future that are decided (I will be waiting for you.),actions in progress at a particular future moment (This time next year I will be teachin Enlish.), predictions in present, our guessing what is happening somewhere (He'll probably be waiting for me now.) Future perfect: will have +past participle (I will have finished the course), questions with inversion of the Subject and auxiliary verb (Will I have finished the course?) and negative form with NOT (I will not have finished the course.) Furure perfect is used to express that something will have been done, finished etc. by a certain moment in the future. Future Perfect continuous: will have been+gerund (I will have been teaching for 10 years.), negative form I will not have been teaching and questions Will I have been teaching? It is used to express how long something will have been happening by a certain moment. Going to+infinitive is used for intentions (I'm going to marry that man.), plans made before speaking (I'm going to finish this course before January.), predictions (I think it's going to rain.). Present Simple is mostly used for timetables and schedules (My train leaves at 6.) and some formal situations (The scools open next week.) Present Continuous is used to express some definite arrangements (We're going on holiday next week.) and decisions without a time frame (I'm leaving you.) There are many teachin ideas we can use in our lessons, some of the most interesting ideas are certainly fortune telling and palm reading for Future Simple, trying to get out of the date from hell for Future Continuous, predictions such as weather forecasts for going to+infinitive, airport schedules for Present Simple etc.
